Kendall’s 2024 Halftime Heroes!

Kendall Central Oregon is thrilled to share all the halftime highlights from the 2024 High School Football season in Central Oregon. Kendall’s Halftime Hero was designed to create a memorable and impactful experience for our local students & their supporters. The Kendall Cares team made appearances at Redmond, Summit, and Mountain View High Schools to host unforgettable competitions while supporting our student athletes. Participants were chosen from their athletic directors and teachers to play a classic game of capture the flag, with a bit of a twist! Students took the field in dinosaur, shark, and alien costumes with the objective of protecting (& stealing) Kendall flags. With a solid game plan and a few 100 yard sprints in inflatable costumes, teams stole the opponents flag and returned it to their territory for some Kendall swag and of course, bragging rights. Student sections cheered their peers on in Kendall cowboy hats and we were so proud to be a part of it.

High School football in Bend brings together all kinds of heroes, from the athletes, to sponsors, and supporters. We can’t forget about the halftime heroes, though, that bring the entertainment, energy, and excitement to the field!
